9 DAY LICENSE COURSE

Over 9 days, you will learn the basics of paragliding. Set up, launch, and landing.
We start you off with flat ground work and then move to training slopes of up to 10 meters. you will progress up to large high flights, practice different manoeuvres, and complete your 30 flights.
Of course there is theory, but we are happy to work at individual paces and adapt teaching styles where need be.
Ramon is an active trainer and assessor and regulary works with adults and children of different learning styles.
 
All equipment is supplied for training
We incorporate soaring and thermal flights into the training where possible. Paragliding Tasmania uses a minimum of 2 instructors and caps the student to instructor ratio, so a better learn experience is achieved.
After these 9 days, we may use a day or 2 extra if required to meet the requirements of SAFA for a PG2 pilot. Once signed off, this is where your real learning begins.

By doing this, you will receive all your licencing upgrades through the rating system upto and including pg4, depending on you achieving the SAFA requirements for the license and showing the required skills.
