Tandem Flights - TIF

Tandems operate during daylight saving times and are only run when the conditions are just right. Get in touch to get on the waiting list and we will advise when we are flying. 
We fly from two sites, Brighton just outside of Hobart with views of Mt Wellington.
And Single Hill near Seven Mile beach on Hobart’s eastern shore. Our hills are
from 140m to 170m and so we rely on a smooth air flow to lift us off and allow for a gentle soar to ensure your flight is enjoyable.
The paraglider is launched by your instructor, within a few paces you find yourself
lifted skyward with an unobstructed view of the spectacular scenery of Tasmania.
It's an experience you'll never forget.
Flights are
expected to take of 20
-30 minutes unless weather cuts short, if this
happens the flight will be charged at the rate of $190 for a short flight (10mins).

Video footage can also be purchased for an additional $30 (using a gopro 7 or insta360)

Paragliding Tasmania is an approved SAFA facility.
Our instructors are all certified with the Sports Aviation federation of
Australia.
*Passenger weight limit of 90 kgs applies on our tandem flights! Sturdy footwear is mandatory. 
If the instructor decides it is not safe to fly the flight will be postponed
or cancelled in negotiation with the customer. Paragliding is weather dependent; no risk will be taken to perform flights. The instructor's decision is final
